This article is for anyone who’s just registered themselves as their team’s captain and their ready to enter some stats.
Getting Started:
- The first thing you’ll want to do is head to your team’s page. You can find this by using the “Find your team” button, or just navigate to your league’s standings page and click your team’s name.
- Once there, you’ll notice some new buttons in the top right that look like:

Building Your Roster:
- You’ll need to start by clicking “Edit Roster”. You can’t enter stats until you have a roster setup.
- This link will take you to a page with a blank roster table and an “Add Player” button.
- We’ll start by clicking “Add Player”. This will launch a dialog for entering in the player’s information seen below. The required fields are marked via asterisks. The phone number and email fields will be kept private to you.

- Once you click “Submit”, if the player doesn’t currently exist in the system, the dialog will dismiss and the player will appear in your roster table. If the system finds a match on this player, it will present you with a 2nd dialog displaying players that match you’re entry. It will look similar to the box below:

- If you see that the player listed matches the player you are trying to add, click “Use Me!”. Otherwise, click “Add New Player” at the bottom of the dialog. Either option will dismiss the dialog and add the player to the roster table.
- One by one you will enter in your roster. It should only take a couple of minutes to complete your entire roster, depending on your typing skills.
- When finished, return to your team page.
Adding Game Stats:
- So you’re roster is all complete and you’re ready to start entering stats? Great! From the team’s page, click the “Add Game Stats” button.
- You’ll be taken to a page with the list of games for which you can enter stats. Note: You cannot enter stats which have not yet had scores added.
- Click the “EDIT” link next to the game you’d like to add stats for.
- This will take you to the “Check In Players” screen. This page allows you to not only mark who participated in this game, but also change their jersey number just for this game. This works great for people who may have forgotten their jersey and had to play under a different number.
- When you’re finished checking people in, and updating jersey numbers, click “Continue”. Note: The “Skip to details” button should be used if you are coming back into this game later to edit game details without re-doing your check-ins.
- You should now be looking at a the “Add Game Details” page which features two empty tables, one for Goals and one for Penaltys; As well ass two buttons labeled “Add Goal” and “Add Penalty”.
Adding A Goal:
- Clicking “Add Goal” opens a dialog seen below.

- All of the data is pre-filled in for you in the drop downs except for time. So, to enter a row off the score-sheet where #15 scored, assisted by #7, and #13, in the 3rd period, at a time of ‘1:30′ power-play goal; I would simply type this: 15 <tab> 7 <tab> 13 <tab> 3 <tab> “1:30″ <tab> “Po” <tab>. This would result in the dialog looking like:

- As you press <enter> the dialog will close, and the site will save to the server in the background and automatically update your “Goals” table. There’s no need to wait for it, you can instantly begin entering the next goal.
Adding A Penalty:
- Clicking “Add Penalty” opens the dialog seen below.

- This dialog works exactly like the “Add Goals” dialog above so it will work as expected.
Finishing Up:
- After you’ve entered in all that stats for this game, simply navigate back to your team’s page and see the results. There’s no need to click any “Save” button, as the server automatically saves stuff in the background for you.
- You’ll notice the Roster table is now updated with the data you’ve entered.
- For that game in the team schedule table you’ll see a “view” link in the “Box Score” column. Clicking it will take you to a breakdown of all the activities of that game.
- Entering stats also enters your team’s players into the “Top Scorers” and “Most Penalties” tables which appear on your leagues standings page.
